The Town of Dracut has recently transitioned to printing property tax bills in-house as part of an ongoing initiative to reduce municipal costs. This new process enables the Town to manage billing operations internally while maintaining accuracy and compliance with required billing standards.
As a result of this change, residents will notice that the format and overall appearance of their tax bills may differ from those received in previous years. To help residents become familiar with the new layout, a redacted sample bill is available for reference: Town of Dracut FY26 Property Tax (PDF).
During this transitional period, some tax bills may arrive a little later than usual. If you have not received your July 1st property tax bill by July 21st, please contact the Tax Collector’s Office to ensure you receive the necessary information in time to make your payment, which is due August 1st.
