Dracut permitting authorities review a number of applications throughout the year including Comprehensive Permits, Special Permits, Site Plans, Subdivision Plans, Variances and modifications of previously approved permits. Listed below are the projects that may have a broad public interest. Not all projects reviewed are necessarily listed here. Please contact the Land Use Department if you have questions about any project, whether listed below or not.

2041 Bridge Street

Proposed development of 40 apartment style rental units on 5+ acres at the intersection of  Bridge Street and Marsh Hill Road.

Beaver Brook Mill Mixed Use Development

Expansion of Beaver Brook Mill at 91-101 Mill Street under Special Permit via the Mill Conversion Overlay District.  Project will also require Conservation Commission permissions.

135 Greenmont

A twenty-six rental residential unit development under Comprehensive Permit.

144 Greenmont

A fifty-six unit age-restricted rental development under construction per Comprehensive Permit.

Bridge Street Landing

Proposed redevelopment of the existing Wendy's into a commercial site with two drive-through establishments.

Broadway Villages

Application to amend existing comprehensive permit for development of multi-family housing and other uses at 341 Broadway Road.

Louis Farm Village

A twenty unit age-restricted ownership development under construction per Comprehensive Permit (Chapter 40B).

Murphy's Farm

Proposed residential development on the Methuen line seeking comprehensive permit approval under Chapter 40B.

MassDOT Rourke Bridge Project

This initiative aims to address critical issues associated with the existing Rourke Bridge while ushering in a new era of efficiency, safety, and modernity in the region's transportation network.

MassDOT Route 110 Project

The purpose of this project is to resurface a 5.9-mile portion of the Route 110 corridor and provide overall improvements to the existing infrastructure.
