Attention, Dracut residents and devoted dog owners!
The Town of Dracut would like to announce that 2026 dog licenses are now available for acquisition. Whether you prefer the ease of in-person processing at the Town Clerk's Office, the convenience of online registration or via mail, we have streamlined the process to ensure your beloved pets are properly licensed for the coming year.
In-Person at Town Clerk's Office:Visit the Town Clerk's Office to secure your dog's license for the year 2026. | Important Details:- The license fee is $11.00 for spayed/neutered dogs and $15.00 for intact dogs.
- A $10.00 late fee per dog will be applicable if the license is not obtained by March 31, 2026.
- Current Rabies Certificates must be presented before a license can be issued.
- If you order it online, to be mailed to your address, there will be an additional $1.00 fee for postage.

Online Option:For added convenience, dog owners can also apply for licenses online. Simply visit City Hall Systems, select Dracut as the Municipality and then in the upper-left is where you will find the option to procure a Dog License. Once there, fill out all required information presented. |
License by Mail:If you prefer to license your dog by mail, please provide the following information: - Owner's name, address, and telephone number
- Dog's name, breed, sex, color, and age
- Must include a copy of the rabies certificate
