Steven Polizzotti worked for other plumbing companies for 15 years before he decided to set out on his own. The lifelong Dracut resident started Polizzotti Plumbing & Heating out of his Cart Path Road home.
According to his wife, Rachel Polizzotti, Steven graduated from the plumbing program at Greater Lowell Technical High School and never looked back.
“He went to Greater Lowell and loved what he was doing, so he stuck with it,” Rachel says. “He worked for a few companies in the area until he decided about nine years ago that he wanted to go out on his own, so he started Polizotti Plumbing & Heating.”
The company has seven employees; Rachel herself is the Director of Development and Marketing.
The Polizzottis and their two young sons on land that was once part of the Lecynski farm, and the operation is run out of the second story of a garage on the property.
Polizzotti Plumbing & Heating offers high-efficiency heating systems, water heaters, remodeling, new construction, and residential and commercial services. It also offers seven-day-a-week on-call service.
The company’s coverage area is mainly the Merrimack Valley but it has gone as far as Holliston, Blackstone and Canton for service.
