MassDOT will be hosting a meeting on Route 110 resurfacing project design.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation - Highway Division invites the public to a virtual informational meeting on Project File No. 608816. This project focuses on the resurfacing and related improvements along a 6.3-mile stretch of Route 110 in Lowell, Dracut, and Methuen, MA.

Purpose:
The meeting aims to update the public on the proposed project and provide an opportunity for feedback. All comments received will be carefully reviewed and considered in the project's development.
Proposal Highlights:
- Resurfacing of Route 110 from the Merrimack River bike path in Lowell to Riverside Drive in Methuen.
- Inclusion of a new shared-use path, improved sidewalks, and upgraded pedestrian curb ramps.
- Proposed 4-foot shoulder on the North side and a 4-foot buffer on the South side with guardrail or flex posts.
- Breaks in guardrail for driveways and pedestrian crossings/access points.
