The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced that temporary lane shifts and closures will take place on Route 110 in Lowell, Dracut, and Methuen as part of an ongoing roadway improvement project.
What to Expect:
- Where: Route 110 from Alexander Circle in Methuen to just west of Bradley Street in Lowell
- When: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., now through end of November 2025
- Traffic: One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open
This work is part of a $15.5 million project to resurface and improve approximately 6.3 miles of Route 110.
Drivers should plan for delays, reduce speed, and use caution when traveling through the area. All work is weather-dependent and subject to change without notice.
