The folks at Charming Petals Flowers & Custom Picture Framing are ready to assist in your Valentine’s Day needs. But you can’t wait any longer.
Owner Joanne Daly and her daughter, Devan Daly, run the store in Village Square, 101 Broadway Road. Joanne opened Charming Petals -- after working for another florist shop for 30 years -- at a different location in the plaza 17 years ago before moving to the current spot three years ago. She’s celebrating 20 years in business this year.
“Dracut has gone above and beyond in welcoming us,” Joanne says. “Dracut 
people love to stay in Dracut and spend their money in Dracut. It’s definitely a great town to be in.”
Joanne is quick to point out that, though she is the owner of Charming Petals, her 91-year-old mother, Mae Zannini, is “the boss” and Devan is “the brains of the operation.” Devan does the custom picture framing. Her son, Xander, 7½, can also be found in the store on occasion.
Of course, Valentine’s Day isn’t the only time for flowers. Charming Petals offers specialty gifts, corsages, potted plants, and arrangements for weddings, funerals and other important events year-round. The shop also has themed gift baskets for special occasions. And, of course, they deliver.
