Tracy Perry likes objects that are chic, vintage and antique.

So when she decided to open her own business, the name she came up with combined all three of those characteristics.

Chic Vintiques opened March 1 at 91 Mill Street, in Beaver Brook Village, next to Owen & Ollie’s Restaurant. Dracut Economic Development held a ribbon-cutting for Chic Vintiques on March 22.

We specialize in refinished furniture, vintage and antique décor and new, hand-picked items that will furnish your home with warmth, character and individual style!”

In other words, chic and vintage antiques.

“I really like antiquing,” Tracy said. “I go everywhere – marketplaces, auctions. I love estate sales, I love old houses.”

After purchasing antique pieces, Tracy paints them all herself to get them into tiptop shape.

Walking around Chic Vintiques, you never know what you’ll find. Decorative items to welcome spring, including plenty of bunnies. Lamps. Flatware. Table sets. Clothes. And if you’re looking for something in particular that you didn’t find, Tracy will try to track it down for you.

“I have a lot of antique furniture, vintage clothing, plants -- all the things I love,” Tracy said.

If you love them, too, check out Chic Vintiques, or email tperry74@comcast.net.
