We told you a few days ago that hair salons would get their time in the spotlight, and that day has arrived. Specifically, May 27 -- National Hairstylist Mental Health Awareness Day -- has arrived.
On May 19, Dracut Economic Development spotlighted barbershops for National Barber Mental Health Awareness Day, and there were six barbershops to highlight. There are significantly more hair salons – we counted 30. If we missed any, let us know.
Of course, many of these salons do more than hair – heck, that’s actually the name of one of them. But that’s the main focus of most of them. Hair they are. (Sorry.)
