The gym at Dracut High School became a forum for business networking for two hours on March 28, as about 200 DHS juniors got a chance to chat with dozens of professionals representing different career pathways.

The Career Fair was organized by the MassHire Greater Lowell Workforce Board’s Connecting Activities Division, in conjunction with Heather Pintal of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, Megan Provencher of Dracut High, and Dracut Economic Development.

“Dracut Career Day showed what true partnership is and how students benefit from these partnerships,” said Gerry Nutter, a Youth Business Specialist with MassHire. “The WorkForce Board Connecting Activities Division, Dracut High School and, especially, Heather Pintal and Megan Provencher and the Dracut Economic Development office, combined to get 34 businesses to participate and, because of that, approximately 200 Dracut juniors got to hear about four different careers they are interested in.
