Mission Statement:

The mission of the Human Resources (HR) Department for the Town of Dracut is to support our employees by developing, guiding, and upholding fair, consistent, and legally sound policies and practices. Our goal is to foster a professional, productive, and forward-thinking work environment, one that empowers every department to serve the community effectively and deliver high-quality municipal services.

Human Resources provides trusted guidance to Town Administration on all HR-related matters. We work closely with department heads, supervisors, and employees to navigate personnel issues, promote best practices, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In addition, the department plays an active role in labor negotiations, contract administration, and supporting a positive, collaborative workplace culture across Town operations.
